
Charlie Wilkinson
Charlie joined Rice Speir in June 2023, bringing extensive skills in regulatory compliance, enforcement, and prosecution, particularly in matters involving the Building Act 2004. She has worked with a diverse range of private and government clients, offering expert advice on regulatory matters and enforcement actions. She also has experience and represents a range of clients in disciplinary proceedings.

Before joining Rice Speir, Charlie served as president of the Victoria University of Wellington Law Students’ Society in 2017. She began her legal career in Wellington, was admitted in 2018, and relocated to Tāmaki Makaurau in late 2019. Known for her disciplined, approachable, and people-focused approach, Charlie is passionate about her clients’ success and takes a collaborative approach to ensure the best outcomes. Drawing from her Crown prosecution and litigation background, she enjoys mentoring junior lawyers, particularly in the areas of advocacy and court appearances.
