He has played pivotal roles in transformative urban regeneration projects, strategic funding initiatives and corporate restructures in the local government context, most notably with the Housing Acceleration Fund, reimagined Auckland’s waterfront ownership, and council social housing joint venture Haumaru Housing projects.

He serves on the board for Habitat for Humanity Northern Region, reflecting his personal commitment to community service and housing.
