We recently announced Felicity’s promotion to Associate Director and are delighted to share more about the experience, expertise and leadership she brings to our clients and the firm.
Felicity has over 20 years’ experience in environmental, planning and local government matters. She helps local government clients navigate New Zealand’s evolving resource management framework, delivering clear, practical and strategic advice on planning instruments and consenting matters that shape communities.
Felicity’s experience spans senior roles both in-house at Auckland Council and in private practice, giving her a unique understanding of planning and regulatory issues from the perspectives of both decision-makers and applicants. She is valued for her ability to distil complex legal issues into clear, practical advice that enables clients to move forward with confidence.
She regularly advises on resource consents, plan changes, subdivisions and designations, and has appeared as counsel before the Environment Court and other decision-making bodies. Her practice includes advising on significant infrastructure and public sector projects, where she works closely with clients to manage legal risk and achieve enduring outcomes. Felicity is also a Committee member of the Resource Management Law Association.
This promotion recognises Felicity’s expertise, leadership and significant contribution to the firm. We congratulate Felicity on this well-deserved achievement and look forward to her continued success in her new role.
